Hi everyone,

A quick update on Coffee Street: Dalat Hills, our coffee cart and garden builder on a Da Lat hillside. Since the first post, the whole story has come together. All five chapters now play from the first cup to the Hill Coffee Festival at the end. It is still in development, but you can get through the entire thing.

Chapters 4 and 5

Chapter 4 takes you to Flower Valley, with a greenhouse and a koi pond. Then there is the hilltop sunset deck, with a telescope and a stage for a guitarist. Chapter 5 is the festival night, with lanterns, confetti and all the regulars gathered on the hill.

Endless mode

After the story you can keep going. You can buy street lots along Coffee Street, work through street levels, serve seasonal drinks, check a daily request board and upgrade your roast.

The hills

The hills now read as one continuous piece of land, with soft grassy slopes and tufts of grass.

A new interface

We redesigned the whole interface in a Da Lat cafe journal style. There is a bottom icon dock, sheet panels, and day report and chapter cards. Build mode has category tabs, there are first time hints, and the coins now fly to your wallet when you earn them.

The staff

You now have baristas working at the cart, a server who carries drinks to seated guests, and a musician on the stage. Here is a short vertical clip.

Next up

Audio comes next, then getting the game ready to release. We will post again when there is something new to show. The first post is here if you missed it.
